WizeFloor Encourages Activity and Learning Through Play

WizeFloor is an interactive floor developed as a tool to encourage learning and physical activity through play.
Along with promoting interactive learning, the award-winning solution helps improve children's personal, social and teamwork skills. The interactive floor was designed for children aged 3 to 12 and is suitable for children with special needs.
WizeFloor uses a ceiling projector to display a variety of educational games and exercises onto the floor, and it allows kids to use their bodies to interact with the projected content. The floor can be used by multiple children at the same time and the interactive learning games available with it are designed to promote collaboration.
The interactive floor was developed by the Danish Alexandra Institute, a non-profit company dedicated to research, innovation, and improving welfare in Danish society. The product itself is a result of nine years of research and development in collaboration with Aarhus University and with support from a number of Danish day care centres and schools.
