FIBO 2015 Celebrates 30 Years of Success

FIBO will celebrate its first 30 years at the 2015 edition of the trade show, which runs from April 9 to 12 in Cologne, Germany.

FIBO 2015, the leading international trade show for fitness, wellness and health, will be held at the Koelnmesse exhibition centre in Cologne from April 9 to 12. The event will once again welcome the world's leading companies and decision makers and celebrate the first 30 years of FIBO's success in the fitness and health industry. The first two days of the show are trade-only to allow industry professionals to conduct business before the frenzy begins. More than 100,000 visitors are expected to attend the main event, which will be held in eight halls of the Cologne Exhibition Centre.

FIBO 2015 attendees will be among the first to see the latest innovations in fitness and health technologies and get a chance to explore new trends and best practices in areas ranging from digitalisation and wearables to sports and functional training. More than 700 of the world's leading companies from 40 countries will exhibit their newest products and services to an international audience and find new target groups for their solutions.

This year's lengthy list of exhibitors includes Body Bike International (Denmark),Gymstick International (Finland), Hocoma (Switzerland), MyZone (UK), Pavigym (Spain), Praxtour (the Netherlands), Tanita Europe (the Netherlands), TechnoGym (Italy), Zumba Fitness (USA), and the German companies Concept2 , CyberConcept, h/p/cosmos sports and medical, Les Mills International, Life Fitness Europe, Motion Fitness, and Pixformance Sports.

FIBO MED 2015 will showcase a diverse range of equipment for rehabilitation, physical therapy, prevention and exercise therapy. Visitors will include managers and investors from hospitals and other health care facilities, as well as representatives of health and fitness studios and health insurance companies. The attendees will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge of the industry at numerous forums, conferences, practical demonstrations and specialist lectures. The focus of this year's FIBO MED Congress will be on medical check-ups before starting a new fitness regime.

The FIBO Functional Training Forum will welcome a number of major brands and feature their latest offerings. The leading experts in the field of functional training will present the practical applications of the newest products as well as their theoretical underpinnings.

The FIBO Passion segment will feature the latest sports equipment and apparel, training methods, and trends in group training and functional fitness, as demonstrated by industry leaders including Les Mills and Zumba Fitness. FIBO's Wellness and Beauty segment will cover a variety of topics, from sun-tanning and saunas to the importance of Vitamin D to the fitness market.

Group fitness will also be the focus of the International DFAV Convention, which will welcome more than 60 of the world's top presenters, who will demonstrate the newest trends in dance and step aerobics, yoga, functional training, and other areas of fitness.

The supporting program at FIBO 2015 will include a series of lectures and networking events. The 2nd European Health & Fitness Forum will be held a day before the main event kicks off and welcome industry leaders to discuss the future of the sector, with a focus on finding ways to motivate more people to exercise.

The anniversary edition of FIBO will introduce the FIBO benefit card, which gives the owners numerous advantages and special benefits, including price reductions, discounts, automatic entry in the prize draw and a free drink at the FIBO 30 Year Party.
